Unrefined Beeswax (100% Pure & Natural) has a golden colour and a delicate honey aroma. 

Our quality unrefined beeswax sourced locally on the Mornington Peninsula. The wax is cleaned and filtered but not bleached, coloured or subjected to any chemical treatment.  Beeswax as natural as it can be!

100% pure beeswax moulded into a round base blocks – straight from the hive.

Why use beeswax as a natural ingredient?

Skincare: Beeswax can be used to thicken the consistency of products. On the skin, beeswax locks moisture in, yet still allows the skin to breathe. So it helps the skin stay moisturised, and assists in keeping the skin protected from harsh environments.  In addition beeswax works as a skin softener, and nourishes the skin.

Beeswax has some anti-inflammatory, antiviral, & antibacterial properties, is an antioxidant, and contains vitamin A, making it a great addition to products for dry skin as vitamin A promotes hydrating and softening, as well as stimulating cell repair.

Common skincare products that can contain beeswax are skin moisturisers, and body creams. Where beeswax plays the role of an emollient (skin softening and/or soothing) and humectant (attracts water and helps to absorb it in the skin).  These properties also make it a perfect ingredient in soap making.

Haircare: Beeswax can be used to make hair pomades and moustache waxes.  Beeswax to hair care products provides a luxurious shine and sleek look to the hair.

Cosmetics: Beeswax is a common ingredient for lip balms, lip sticks, & lip gloss.  Where Beeswax can help healing cracked, or dry lips, as well as the prevention of chapped lips during the colder months.

Candles: Beeswax Candles provide a long, pure, & clean burn that do not produce a lot of smoke.
