Orange Sweet Essential Oil (Citrus sinensis) expressed peel oil

Our Orange Sweet Essential Oil has a very sweet fresh citrus aroma. Expressed from the peel of the sweet orange fruit of a small evergreen tree.  The tree is native to China and India and produces a very nutritious fruit.  Sweet orange may be either Valencia or Naval oranges which are also popular for eating.  Our Sweet Orange is expressed from the Valencia Orange, chosen for its superior aroma.

Orange Sweet has a yellow-orange to dark orange colour and a thin consistency.

Orange Sweet has uplifting but relaxing properties which it shares to some extent with the other sweeter citrus oils such as Lime and Mandarin. It is therefore helpful for relaxation or to deal with stress-related conditions. It may also be helpful for digestive system issues. Its calming nature may also be beneficial to soothe dry or irritated skin.

Orange Sweet is a cheerful happy aroma which uplifts the spirits.

Use Orange Sweet in a diffuser or use topically in massage oils or lotions diluted in an appropriate carrier oil.

Unlike most other citrus oils, Orange Sweet is generally regarded as safe as it does not carry the same photosensitization risks that others do.
